Mostly flat ride, park in the Marco's parking lot.
at mile 8.7 you will see barriers blocking Beatle Lane, you just need to dismount and climb over the barrier, the rest of the road is ridable, they are putting in a new neighbor hood and they closed the entire road while they are doing this, just be careful construction workers are not expecting cyclists so they will not stop for you.
Make sure to text me your RUSA # and Time in Hours and Minutes when you finish.
See you out there.

Sincerely,
Great ride going through several great towns, Burton, Navasota, and then up to Anderson, with a turnaround at Yankee's Tavern and Grill, fun motorcycle bar. and then back to Brookshire.
Lots of rolling hills, very little shade on this ride, so in the summer be careful with the heat and bring plenty of water, in the winter make sure to wear layers, the winds pick on this route and without the right gear you will defenitely feel it.
Hilly Route, This is an out and back so your Garmin might get confused a little bit so be sure when you leave the controls or break areas that you are headed in the right direction.
Upon completion, please text or email me the following information:
RUSA #,
Duration of the ride, Hours and minutes
and a link to your electronic proof of passage.
If you DNF make sure to text or call me immediately so I am aware and do accidentally send a car out looking for you.
Be careful if you are riding this route during the week several of these roads are commuter routes and there will be heavy traffic.
